The Focus

We have one primary focus while launching this newspaper. Our focus is, quite simply, YOU!

Anything that concerns you, our reader, is our concern. While highlighting the achievements of the vibrant and prosperous South Asian community here in Brampton, the Peel Region and the wider GTA, we will perhaps more importantly also air any concerns you may have in a frank and forthright manner so that these can be brought to the attention of the authorities concerned.

South Asian Focus seeks to become a forum where community issues that you feel strongly about can be debated by all parties concerned, thus promoting dialogue as a means of resolving any issues.

We will at the same time enable you, our readers, to build and maintain strong bridges with your homelands by bringing relevant, focused, authentic news from halfway across the world through syndications and special arrangements that will keep you updated on the latest developments across the Subcontinent. This information we will punctually deliver direct to your doorsteps every week.

But in return we need your help. Yes, we will always need your good wishes-- but more, we also need you to tell us what you need. Help us to serve you better. Talk to us. We will listen.

Mail us your thoughts and ideas, your suggestions and comments, your bouquets and brickbats, to us.

We invite you to embark on this new journey in a spirit of partnership, even as we usher in Baisakhi. And looking ahead, we wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year.
